Octopus Underwater - Online Art Class
In the newest addition to our art school, we're excited to announce that art classes by 'Jo Stanes Art Station' are now available online.
Ideal for homeschool students or online learning due to social distancing requirements, each lesson has been designed to be easy to follow by being segmented into stages, so you can pause while completing each step.
Simply choose from a selection of individual or blocks of classes, add to your cart, enter your details and purchase. A link will then be sent to your email address, enabling you to stream your class directly to your computer or mobile device.
If you create an online account on our website, all of your class purchases will be stored securely in your account as a library for you to access at any time in the future.
This class is a step-by-step online tutorial by artist Jo Stanes, teaching you how to paint a silhouette of an octopus underwater.
Materials needed for this class (feel free to substitute with whatever you have at home):
- A Canvas or Watercolour paper (or sketch paper equivalent)
- Paintbrush (small or medium size)
- HB Pencil
- Tea (4 tea bags brewed in 1/2 a cup of boiling water)
- Household Bleach (use only under adult supervision)
- Black Acrylic Paint or Ink
- Black Marker Pen / Texta
- White Marker Pen (optional)
- Food Colouring
- Yellow (optional)
- Wet Wipes or Tissues (for blending, mopping & cleaning up)
