Online Art Classes - Set of 4

In the newest addition to our art school, we're excited to announce that art classes by 'Jo Stanes Art Station' are now available online.

Ideal as an art module for homeschool students or online learning due to social distancing requirements, this set of 4 lessons have been especially compiled to provide your child or teen with a block of online art classes that can be completed once a week over 4 weeks, or as spontaneous creative time during the school holidays.

This pack offers step-by-step online tutorials by artist Jo Stanes, teaching you how to paint:

1. A Series of Cacti
2. A Group of Jellyfish
3. A Moon Rising over the Water
4. A Silhouette of an Octopus Underwater

Simply add to your cart, enter your details and purchase. A link will then be sent to your email address, enabling you to stream your classes directly to your computer or mobile device.

If you create an online account on our website, all of your class purchases will be stored securely in your account as a library for you to access at any time in the future.

Materials needed for these classes (feel free to substitute with whatever you have at home):

1. A Series of Cacti:

• Watercolour paper (or sketch paper equivalent)
• Paintbrush (preferably a thin point)
• Tea (4 tea bags brewed in 1/2 cup of boiling water)
• Black fine liner / marker pen
• HB Pencil
• Paint (preferably watercolour or acrylics, but food colouring can also be used)
• Green (any shades)
• Yellow
• Pink / Red

• Wet Wipes or Tissues (for blending, mopping & cleaning up)

2. A Group of Jellyfish:

• Watercolour paper (or sketch paper equivalent)
• Paintbrush (preferably a thin point)
• HB Pencil
• Food colouring
• Green
• Blue
  
• Pink / Red
• Household Bleach (optional)
• Please note: use only under adult supervision
• Acrylic Paint (optional)
• Purple
• Navy
• White

• Wet Wipes or Tissues (for blending, mopping & cleaning up)

3. A Moon Rising over the Water:

• A Canvas or Watercolour paper (or sketch paper equivalent)
• Paintbrush (any size)
• Kitchen Sponges
• White A4 photocopy paper
  
• Acrylic Paint

• Beige / Yellow (optional)
  
• Black Marker Pen / Texta
• White Marker Pen (optional)
• Scissors
• Masking Tape
• Dinner Plate / Saucer (to trace around)
• Wet Wipes or Tissues (for blending, mopping & cleaning up)

4. A Silhouette of an Octopus Underwater:

• A Canvas or Watercolour paper (or sketch paper equivalent)
• Paintbrush (small or medium size)
• HB Pencil
• Tea (4 tea bags brewed in 1/2 a cup of boiling water)

• Black Acrylic Paint or Ink
• Black Marker Pen / Texta
• White Marker Pen (optional)
